dust extraction system
Brand: LBH

Return air/exhaust air ducting:

The cleaned air is returned to the machine room via galvanized sheet metal ducts.
The return air duct is connected to the top of the filter system.
A tested K 90 fire damper is installed in the area where the duct passes through the workshop wall.

Technical data:
Duct cross-section: 700x700 mm
Return air velocity: 7.5 m/s
Exhaust velocity in the workshop: <0.5 m/s
Sound pressure level at a distance of 3 m from the exhaust air outlet during summer operation: 55 dB (A)

Extraction fan:
A belt-driven radial fan is used as the extraction fan. The three-phase standard motor is mounted on chip rails. The impeller hub and motor are connected by a key. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced. The fan housing and the suction and pressure side transitions to the respective extraction diameter are made of solid sheet steel, including the necessary stiffening ribs.
The transmission of structure-borne noise and vibrations is prevented by mounting the fan on vibration dampers and using suction and pressure side compensators.

Technical data:
Radial fan type: VSR-080-0450-K
Motor power: 22 kW
Air flow rate: 13,750 m³/h
Total pressure difference: 3000 Pa
Main pipe diameter: 450 mm
Extraction speed: 24 m/s
Sound pressure level at a distance of 3 m: 78 dB(A)

The extraction fan is controlled by a frequency converter installed in the switch and control cabinet. This regulates the air volume depending on the synchronous operation of the woodworking machines.

Intermediate filter system with screw conveyor,
motorized vibration, and galvanized panel cladding:

The injection line leads into the injection box of the filter system. The filter system is mounted outdoors on a stable base and is equipped with galvanized weather protection cladding.
After blowing, the heavy chip material settles at the bottom of the hopper. The blown air escapes into the return air duct after passing through the filter hoses. The filter system is equipped with polyester needle felt filter hoses. These are attached to the vibration frame, which in turn is suspended in a movable manner by means of double tension springs. Vibration motors are used to clean the hoses. The chip material is conveyed by a discharge screw mounted on both sides of the screw trough to the rotary valve, from where it is discharged without pressure to a chip collection container located under the filter. The drive unit for the rotary valve and filter screw consists of a spur gear motor mounted on clamping rails, a sprocket set for the rotary valve and gear motor, and a 3/4 inch drive chain.
The filter screw is driven by a worm gear. The rotary valve is equipped with rubber sealing elements. The valve shaft is mounted on the valve side walls by flange bearings.
Application categories U, S, and G.
The residual dust content in the clean air is less than 0.2 mg/m³. An extinguishing line with blast nozzles is installed inside the filter, which is routed to the outside and further downwards, where it terminates with a C-coupling. The filter system is also equipped with bursting devices in accordance with VDI 3673.

Technical data:
Filter area: 155m²
Dimensions L x W x H: 2,250 x 2,500 x 8,400 mm
Cleaning: 2 vibrating motors, each 180 W / 3,000 min -1
Gear motor for screw conveyor: 0.55 kW
Gear motor for sluice: 0.55 kW
Filter area load: 88 m³h-1/m²

Chip extraction system:

Pipe system:

The woodworking machines are connected to a galvanized pipe system. The machine is connected directly via the respective transitions or sleeves. Some of the extraction hoods are already fitted to the machines, while others are newly manufactured. A flexible extraction hose is then installed. Galvanized shut-off valves are used to shut off the extraction points that are not required. The vertical branch pipes lead into the main pipe laid on the building ceiling. In this pipe, the extracted chip material is transported on the suction side to the radial fan.
On the pressure side, the filter system is blown in.
The piping system is basically assembled using pipes, elbows, branches, clamps, extraction hoses with hose clamps, and sleeves.

Technical data:
Main chip extraction pipe: Ø459 mm
Air velocity at extraction points: 22-26 m/s
