Our solution: rebuilt and modify an existing Nottmeyer machine chassis.
The very heavy duty base machine is perfect to realize a high cycle production and a perfect accuracy at the same time.
Goal was to replace the new with the old still existing machine at the customers. The machine needed to be the exact same length to guarantee an easy and fast set up.
The new line exists of 2 main machines: A througfeed boring machine and a throughfeed dowel inserting machine. The electric of these machines was designed according to the special US standards. A Siemens Touchscreen was chosen for the control.
Highest level of availability and reliability were most important points for the decision.
